Where to start? Delicious fried chicken served in a bucket and a big pitcher of bourbon lemonade make for an unforgettable culinary experience. Service is friendly and the place has a hipster neighborhoody feel. Price is a bit high but it's totally worth it. I can't wait to go back.
MoreNope. Just nope. Can't believe this is the state of Montreal cooking.Weak cooking being marketed as "accessible" and "fun"
MoreGreat service, great food ! We have been coming here for years and are never dissapointed. The service is great, the food is great and very consistent over the years. Also very happy that they have increased their plant-based dishes (portobello tacos, salad) ! There is also now a delicious salad on the menu, it’s great to have light options too. I wish we could call ahead to order take-out ! At the moment orders have to placed in the restaurant. Try the bourbon ice teas and lemonades ... perfect for hot summer days!
MoreReasonably priced tasty tex mex. Drinks are $10 each (a bit pricey), but are well made. Food is amazing, does not disappoint. Good house salsa too
MoreOverall it was a decent experience, but we were left expecting more from a restaurant with a “must-go” 4.4 rating on google. Good Tex-Mex inspired BBQ fare. POPCORN SHRIMP was AMAZING, and the fried chicken, fish tacos and margaritas were good too. However, we were DISAPPOINTED with the OYSTERS. Considering we went on a busy Saturday and they’re $3 each we thought it was safe to expect them to be fresh, but they were lukewarm and definitely NOT FRESH! Evidently it’s just difficult for restaurants to have good oysters if they don’t sell enough on a regular basis. Other customers seemed to know this as we were the only ones who ordered oysters while we were there. Also, although the staff was friendly, one waitress working the whole restaurant alone on a Saturday is always going to leave something more to be desired when it comes to service.
MoreEvery table was wiped down accordingly, well spaced, felt very secure and in good hands during the pandemic. Food is hype too.
MoreFood was fantastic, great portion size. Bilingual staff are very friendly and informative. The food arrived promptly, great service all around!
MoreWent there to buy food. Staff was not wearing any mask. Since I am part of a minority ethnic group, they stared at me in a weird way. like they were afraid that I had COVID-19 but yet...they dont even wear any mask themselves. ( oh, during summer time, the restaurant has their windows wide open...to welcome all disease in the surrounding ). Contratictory if you ask me. Place is small. Better to order to pick up. But since customer service is " questionnable " I dont think Ill ever order nor recommend this place ever. If staff are afraid of the covid-19, then close the windows and wear your mask + leave hand sanitizers at the entrance like every other restaurants. Be smart. Not contradictory. 1 star.
MoreGreat vibe atmosphere inside the restaurant but very disappointing food experience. The ''guedille de homard'' was pricey and it tasted awful. Very bad price to quantity ratio.
MoreSuper friendly staff and lovely atmosphere! The food was great too, best burrito I had in ages! I also saw a feast served at the next table that I'll definitely try next time :)
MoreExcellent food and service. There can be a line up, but it is worth it. Luckily it was lobster season so we got to enjoy some of the best lobster rolls I've ever had. I had previously been told that both the fried chicken and ribs are amazing so we got half potions of each to try, was not disappointed. Recommend the bourbon lemonade and beer on tap. Will def be back soon.
MoreVery friendly staff and good atmosphere, make it a homey local place to enjoy good food. Their mushroom tacos are a fresh, tasty and not expansive treat. I could eat a ton of them! Chicken and shrimp popcorn are well balanced, if that’s your cup of tea. Icehouse would get a higher rating if not for a bad experience with their lobster rolls. Small, tasting mostly of mayonnaise, celery and a bit of lobster. What was described as a generously filled portion of lobster in a 6 inch bread left us feeling swindled for 25$ a piece. A price similar to the one of a whole freshly cooked lobster at local markets. Overall, would recommend if they have tacos on the menu, but would look closeby since there are plenty of other options.
MoreI love this place. Amazing staff with great tacos and fried chicken. You go for the food and the people. Highly recommended
